How to show a cancellation line - e.g. in this equation: x = 3 * 4 / 3
you may want to show the 3's being cancelled out.

You can add a cancellation strike-through line to anything using \\(\)cancel{...}.
e.g.:
\\([\)x=3*\\(\)frac{4}{3}=\\(\)cancel{3}*\\(\)frac{4}{\\(\)cancel{3}}=4\\(]\)

will produce:\[x=3*\frac{4}{3}=\cancel{3}*\frac{4}{\cancel{3}}=4\]

\(\huge\times\) looks better than \(\huge *\) I think.

just for Mr.Math, the * has been replaced with \\(\)times:\[x=3\times\frac{4}{3}=\cancel{3}\times\frac{4}{\cancel{3}}=4\]
