How to show a cancellation line - e.g. in this equation: x = 3 * 4 / 3
you may want to show the 3's being cancelled out.

You can add a cancellation strike-through line to anything using cancel{...}.
e.g.:
$[$x=3*frac{4}{3}=cancel{3}*frac{4}{cancel{3}}=4$]$

will produce:$$x=3*\frac{4}{3}=\cancel{3}*\frac{4}{\cancel{3}}=4$$

just for Mr.Math, the * has been replaced with times:$$x=3\times\frac{4}{3}=\cancel{3}\times\frac{4}{\cancel{3}}=4$$
