i need help solving for x
|dw:1327977737199:dw|
kolbis, its the same process i showed u; try it =)
or u can use the ration one
but i cant type in tan(x) in my calculator
hey satellite, mind telling me how u got the 1,sq3,2 ? for previous triangles?
nono, this time use tan^-1(x)
|dw:1327977894486:dw|
there is an equilateral triangle. each angle must be 60 degrees. then if you cut it in half it is pretty clear that the short side is half of the hypotenuse, and pythagoras give the other (long) side
(i help) i dont even know how i would type that i have a texas instument ti-84 plus wha6t would i type
u see the tan key? look behind it- it will say tan^-1,,, u gota press 2nd key (blue color i think) then press the tan key
if you are looking for \[\tan^{-1}(\frac{19}{11})\] you would probably hit "shift" or "second" then "tan" which should give you the inverse tangent
thanks, that made sense with the ratios
