A coin is slightly irregular such that when it is tossed, the probability of landing on the head is 0.48. What is the probability (rounded to the nearest hundredth) of getting exactly two heads if it is tossed five times? The answer is 0.32. I tried multiplying 0.48^2 x 0.52^2 = .37 but is not the answer.

.37 would be the probability if it was only tossed 4 times 5 tosses means it lands on tails 3 times Also there are 5 choose 2 ways of getting 2 heads, 3tails 5C2 = 10 --> P = 10*.48^2*.52^3 = 0.324

I understand the setup, which explains a lot. So this problem also requires figuring out a combination as well? Why would either combination or permutation be required in a probability problem?
