Why can photons go through specific objects like glass, but not for example wood or iron?
who told you that it can not??????????? . it can but that depends upon the energy of that photon. As we all know photon has a deual behaviour: it behaves like waves sometimes and sometimes as particles. when photons behave like particle, it might collide with electrons and lose the energy it has due to that collision and so vanish which is exactly the princple of Compton effect experiment. while as waves, photons can go through glass and wood with no problem at all
So theoretically, we could be able to see through humans?
oh hell yeah
Whoa..
X-rays
I meant with the naked eye..
Your eyes can only detect photons that are within a certain range of frequencies, and frequency is directly related to energy. On the other hand, glass is magic.
