I heard that you can just walk around with a knife in your brain without feeling anything, true or false?
True http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1357508/Man-knife-buried-face-years-Ive-got-stabbing-pains.html Next time try google
There are other examples of people getting things lodged in their brain and not even realizing as well
Whoa... That is so weird.. Is it because the brain doesnt have a nervous system or..?
Im sorry, im more of a physics and chemistry guy, but that is really cool.
Don't apologize for being inquisitive it is a noble trait
Science is really interesting :D
The brain is the main component of the central nervous system. All brain surgeries are usually done on awake patients. If you are interested I recommend looking up the reason why and posting it Sorry wanted to correct a mistake I made
No problems.
It's possible. The brain does not have touch sensing cells within it - as far as touch is concerned, it just processes stimuli sent to it by other touch sensing cells in other parts of the body. But if you had a knife or other foreign object in your brain (like the guy in New Jersey who recently shot a 2" galvanized steel nail into his brain instead of into the garage roof he was building) it is very, very unlikely that you'd be walking around anywhere.
Its still very amusing. The most important part of the body is without touch sensing cells. Wow.
The brain yes, but what about the cranial bones? True, but only true if you consider that the brain has in no way injured the skin or bone surrounding that brain.
Right..
