ans is t=3,y=20 here is how i did it take the derivative of R(t) R'=30cos(30t), when R'=0 means that at that point the tangent slope= 0 ie there is a max or min. So that would be your t=3 , then you plug in that into your R equation. to see whether that is a max or min, you take that second derivative or R''= -900sin(30t), if you plug in the t value you get -900... in general when your R''<0 you got max, when R''>0 you got min, think about it as if you got negative money your sad, ie looks like a max, if your budget is positive, your happy, ie min. Hope that helps

o forgot you got max at that point, but since its a sin, its going to keep going, so you just need to make that into a little function with respect to time
