Nope, not generally speaking. Sometimes DNA can break on accident, such as due to a little amount of radiation, but little proteins in the nucleus are constantly "spell checking" and fixing errors in the code in case there is a mess up. DNA reproduces by splitting down the middle, kind of like a zipper and then two new "zippers" put each strand back together with the opposite, matching "zipper tooth" until you have two strands of identical DNA zipped up together. That's basically what happens.
