Find the measure of P.

cos(P)=33.8/57.6

This one can be solved with Trigonometry as well, CosP = Adjacent Side/Hypotenuse CosP = 33.8/57.6 Or P= Cos^-1 (33.8/57.6) P = 54.069 degrees. If you are doing this, make sure your calculator is in the DEGREE mode, else you will get some 0.54 which is wrong since that is in radians.

that's all I kept getting was the 0.54, how do you put it in degree mode?

Shift + Mode button on your calculator then select the option which says Deg.
