How do I find the volume of a solid (general equation)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

volume = (units)^3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I mean what times what.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that totally depends man, on what you are finding the volume of. the volume of a sphere is nothing like the equation for the volume of a cube or a cone or a triangular prism or annnny kind of 3D shape. in fact volume has it's own section of calculus! a general equation? I don't thinkso.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Density = mass/ volume Volume= mass/density

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or that i guess.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

he has a medal and i don't...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that's kind of a little less related to actual math theory though

OpenStudy (anonymous):

more physics

Thanks.
