yep it has from f=ke i.e ma=ke i.e m=ke/a hence mass will affect the extension

The spring constant is dependent on mechanical stress, which has a force product. Force naturally is the product of mass and acceleration. Alternatively, spring's force would be counteracting another mass' force, which is also a product of mass and acceleration.
