True Value received an invoice dated 4/15/02. The invoice had a $5,900 balance that included $700 freight. Terms were 5/10, 4/30, n/60. True Value pays the invoice on April 29. What amount does True Value pay?

terms of the total balance 5,900?

I think so... I've worked the numbers all different ways possible but still not coming up with the right answer

Can't find out how much true value pays, but could find n. Since they are not paying the whole balance, n can mean anything. Otherwise its 700/5900+5900(1/2)+5900(2/15)+5900(n/60)=5200, and it seems alright for n, but its not really a reasonable question in the first place since n isn't what we want anyway, sorry

That's alright thank you for your time... It doesn't make sense to me at all so i may just let it be how i have it and then find out where i went wrong to learn that way. Thank you again!
