Mathematics 15 Online
Directrix (directrix):

Does this Open Study Mathematics site have a search engine contained within the site to find previous problems and solutions?

myininaya (myininaya):

Sorry. You will have to use google. Are you looking for a question you worked on previously? or posted?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, after a while the original post gets delete. I'm guessing the site doesn't have enough memory or cache or space or whatever to hold everyones questions for a prolonged period of time.

myininaya (myininaya):

I don't think so dmelando unless the poster or moderator deletes the question.

myininaya (myininaya):

We probably don't have questions from the old old openstudy.

myininaya (myininaya):

But if you been coming here for 10 months (maybe a little over 10 months) they should have every single one of your post.

myininaya (myininaya):

Unless like I said a mod or poster decides to delete their question.

OpenStudy (zarkon):

doing a quick search on google I found one of my old post that was over 6months old.

myininaya (myininaya):

Hey we should put this question in feedback.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, yes you should. Let me know the new link!

myininaya (myininaya):

It will get buried by other questions. The admins check out the feedback group almost daily it seems.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*coughhourlycough*

myininaya (myininaya):

lol

OpenStudy (jagatuba):

If you posted it look under asked questions in your profile. Ihave questions going back 9 mos.

myininaya (myininaya):

I have them going back like 11 months but I think.

myininaya (myininaya):

no 10 months*

Directrix (directrix):

I know where to find the questions I asked and answered. I thought there would be a google type search engine for keywords used within this site to look for questions and solutions posed by others. The "global google" does bring up pages from within this site.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Directix, put this in the Feedback group and the admin team will take a look when there are more of us online :)

Directrix (directrix):

Okay. Also, I just checked. Yahoo! Answers has within its Answer Section a "Search Y! Answers" as well as a Browse Resolved Questions. Those may be subset functions of the global Yahoo search engine.

Directrix (directrix):

@Laura* --> Where is the Feedback group located?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Directrix it's called "OpenStudy Feedback". Click "Join Study Group" @Redwood Girl- we're working on collecting good questions and answers, but we don't have a forum to place it in yet...Put it in the feedback section!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry! I thought that's where I was! (I landed on this question not realizing I'd entered the mathematics group.)
