9 1/3 divided by 6 3/10 = 1 1/279 ?

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

1 13/27....do you have a scientific calculator? I can teach you how to use it to solve these mixed fractions if you do

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah i do ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

40/27

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah, it's 1 13/27

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

does your scientific calculator have the function "a b/c" or something like that somewhere?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea ?

OpenStudy (sasogeek):

is that multiplication or mixed fractions?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait no ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mixed numbers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it actually has 1/x

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

try inputting this in your scientific calculator press 9...then that function...then 1...then that function again...then 3...then press divde...then press 6....then press the function...then press 3...then the function again...then press 10...then equals...you should have 1 L 13 L 27 (the L is small and inverted) that is read as 1 13/27 did you get that? btw...the function is the fraction symbol (the line thingy) if it's mixed, just press the whole number then the function then your numerator then the function then the denominator

OpenStudy (sasogeek):

\[with \ mixed \ numbers, \ a\frac{b}{c}=\frac{ac+b}{c}\]

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

1/x??? i dont think that's the function...try using it if you get the answer

OpenStudy (sasogeek):

Igbasallote, there are different types of scientific calculator function arrangement with the keys so her calculator might differ with urs... take note of that :)

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

...well i said something like that...most calculators use that kind of function or boxes...maybe hers just looks different

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

what's the brand of your calculator anakaren?

OpenStudy (sasogeek):

I use a casio fx-991ES :P

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

^boxes :DDD
