How do I figure out v=lwh; for w?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

divide off the l and h

OpenStudy (chriss):

w=v/lh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

w=v/lh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it should be v=lwh w=v/lh w=v ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

amistre64, can you please try helping me with my question??

OpenStudy (amistre64):

if i can find it :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you :)

OpenStudy (chriss):

w=v/lh is the final answer

OpenStudy (chriss):

when you are solving this type of problem and it has multiple variables, and you are solving for one particular variable, you are generally going to have all the original variables still included in the final answer. The idea is to isolate the desired variable to one side of the equation
