Why does a predator actually help the species of it's prey?
the less advantageous genes will get eaten first,
Can you explain I dont undersatnd
ok so a population has a genetic pool, there is some variation within a species for example a population of antelope might have some antelope with medium sized legs and some with large legs,
Unkle are you a teacher? Your good in math too :P
if cheaters are preying on the antelope then they will most likely the one with the medium legs because they are easier to catch
Yeah I know but how does it help? Do you mean over time it will eliminate the bad genes?
most likley eat*
This removes the medium legs antelope from the genetic pool, pushing the species as a whole towards longer legs
AW I see.
Medal :D
the cheaters will still eat the shorts legged antelope and the longest legged antelope will survive to reproduce
I not a teacher i am a student
Where do you go?
I study at the University of Wollongong, Australia
Lol wollongong :P
I know someone from Ausie. I like the girls from Ausie as well :P
