More integration: (4x+1)/ (2x^2 + x - 1) but looks like the denominator won't factor...

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

actually it does factor --> (2x-1)(x+1) Now you can use partial fractions A/2x+1 + B/x+1 --> A(x+1) + B(2x+1) = 4x+1 (A+2B)x +(A+B) = 4x+1 A+2B = 4 A+B = 1 --> A = -2, B=3

bah 2x - x.....MUST MULTIPLY THE COEFFICIENT TOO....note to self: do not trust even the multiply stuff thanks

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

haha welcome
