How does the phosphorous cycle differ from the nitrogen cycle and the carbon cycle?

OpenStudy (trancenova):

hmm well just off the top of my head the main difference is that both the nitrogen and carbon cycle have a gaseous form while phosphorus does not. The carbon and phosphorus cycle have stores in rocks/ground while the nitrogen has its main store in the atmosphere and it makes it to the soil either through fixation by plants/bacteria or lightning.
