given sec (theta) = 3 what is the exact value of csc (90 - (theta))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

csc(90-theta) = sec (theta). The answer is 3.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how could you explain this in details please because this makes no sense

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The "co" functions are shifts of the original functions by 90 degrees. So anytime you have any trigonometric function in which the argument is (90-theta), it is equal to the cofunction. For example, sin(90-theta)= cos (theta) cos(90-theta) = sin (theta) And so on for the other 4.
