(2x-1)^8 is there an easy way to do this?

OpenStudy (accessdenied):

The easiest (or one of the) way to expand would probably just be through binomial expansion w/ pascal's triangle (a+b)^{8} = (a^8 + 8a^7 b + 28a^6 b^2 + 56a^5 b^3 + 70a^4 b^4 + 56a^3 b^5 + 28a^2 b^6 + 8a b^7 + b^8)

Are you sure you meant the ''easiest''? jk. Thank you very much!

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

lol binomial again...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Exactly, bahrom... haha

Well, I personally can't imagine there's an easier way to write out a 9-term polynomial. :p I can only say, be careful -- in this case, a = 2x and b = -1, so you have to watch out and make sure you're also taking those to exponents It seems like a lot of people get messed up that way. D:
