how would you find the zeros of f(x) = x^2-4x+1? I tried quadratic formula and got 2 +- the sqrt of 12.. but the book says the answer is 2 +- sqrt of 3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sounds like you forgot to divide the sqrt(12) by 2
