Economics - Financial Markets 9 Online

I am doing self-study on Economics. I realize strong mathematical skill foundation is a must. I don't know where to start with. Can someone help me with the laying out of the courses to prioritize? For example, I don't know what math subjects I should study first before Single Variable Calculus. Thanks.

Well lower division Econ classes in college only require basic algebra. When you first study econ, it's going to be mostly conceptual ideas and theories. Once you get deeper you'll start analyzing graphs and tables. I would recommend: Algebra (Beginner, Intermediate, Advance) Probability and Statistics (this a must if you want to study econ) Pre-Cal (this will teach you a lot of the mathematical jargon and applications) Single Variable Calculus (you'll probably need this if you plan on doing upper division college studying).
