Bibi is using a software program that allows her to change the shape of a two-dimensional figure by making changes to the sides. She starts with a quadrilateral with opposite sides parallel. She stretches the shorter edges of the quadrilateral to make all four sides congruent. Which statement best describes the figure that she created? She changed a kite to a square. She changed a rectangle to a square. She changed a trapezoid to a rhombus. She changed a parallelogram to a rhombus.

I think it's B , but idk im dumb. O_o

to answer this, you need to translate English into a picture. They say "shape of a two-dimensional figure" so you know it has length and width (2 dimensions) a quadrilateral fancy Latin word for 4 sides. so you know you have four sides with opposite sides parallel. a parallelogram, opposite sides go in the same direction. Draw a picture:

We start with a parallelogram, (some parallelograms may be a rectangle, square, rhombus), but not necessarily. So I would look for a statement that says "We start with a parallelogram"

OpenStudy (phi):

She stretches the shorter edges of the quadrilateral to make all four sides congruent. means all four sides are the same length. That means rhombus or square. But a square requires 4 right angles, which we may not have (They did not make us). so rhombus is the final figure.
