OpenStudy (anonymous):

does that mean assume a is the point (0,3) and b is the point (1,0)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would assume so

OpenStudy (rulnick):

max at (-3,2) min at (-1,-1) local max at (3,1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are those absolute or relative?

OpenStudy (rulnick):

local = relative others are absolute

OpenStudy (rulnick):

abs max at (-3,2) abs min at (-1,-1) rel max at (3,1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you so much, I have more questions if you have time

OpenStudy (anonymous):

multiply those y-coordinates by 3 though, i think.

OpenStudy (rulnick):

hold on, I didn't see the a= b=

OpenStudy (rulnick):

abs max at -21,2 abs min at -7, -1 rel max at 21, 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the coordinates are incorrect

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I figured it out, thank you so much! I will attach the next question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (rulnick):

which ones? the first ones I posted didn't use the b=7, so I had to mult the x-coords by 7 from what I first posted. was that it? or something else?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I just had to adjust the y coordinates

OpenStudy (rulnick):

rel max at t=0 abs min at t=-1 and t=2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it's supposed to be in the form (t, y). is there a y coordinate?

OpenStudy (rulnick):

oh, ok, here...

OpenStudy (rulnick):

abs min at (-1, -68) rel max at (0,0) abs min at (2, -68)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

correct! you're awesome. ready for the next one?
