I would really appreciate help with this, been stuck for some time! I know that the volume of a paraboloid is 75 volume units when rotated around the y-axis and that the function of the parabola is y=kx^2 (k is a constant), so using the disk method I get this (h is the upper limit of the integral): sqrt(150/pi)=(h^2)/k Now, what I want to do is figure out what h/k is, because that would mean that I can figure out the rest (I already know the correlation between x and y). But I can't get from h^2/k to just h/k - how do I do this? Or am I even going about this the right way?
