OpenStudy (matt6288):

why is water in the atmosphere so important? this isnt a math question but i dont get it how do i answer this. i looked it up but i dont get it(feeling retarded..)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Because water in the atmosphere is part of the water cycle, with out water in the atmosphere, we wouldn't have clouds, and no clouds means no rain. If we didn't have rain, then areas that aren't close to rivers or lakes would dry up and be empty of life. Dessert plants store rain to survive, farmers depend on rain water to fill up wells. Even cities depend on rain to drip from the mountains into pipelines.

sam (.sam.):

Water vapor condense into liquid forming clouds

OpenStudy (matt6288):

oh i get it now! thx guys i think i was like thinking way to hard..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Also Water Vapor is the number one greenhouse gas. It is 60% of greenhouse gases and it's vital in keeping heat on Earth. No water Vapor would mean everything would freeze over and the life would go bye-bye.
