Subtract (5x^2 + 3x) from (3x^2 -2x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[2x^2+ 5x\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-2x^2-5x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How did you get it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

purplepanda you're subtracting the first from the last.. so it's negative.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

rewrite the problem is it's: 3x^2-2x-5x^2-3x =-2x^2-5x
