OpenStudy (siberman):

It's related to Boyle's law, pressure has an inverse relationship to volume, the lower the pressure, the higher the volume, so a clump of matter, or a person, in a vacuum, would be ripped apart as it's volume adapted to this new pressure environment. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boyle's_law

OpenStudy (anonymous):

our body has a high pressure inside so when compared to the outside vaccum which has no atmosphere with gases to cause pressure so the pressure from inside is not balanced by anything outside(to remain in equilibrium) thereby pressure from inside will rupture the skin.

human body doesn't actually burst in vaccum u die without oxygen
