The length of the hypotenuse of a 30°-60°-90° triangle is 12. Find the perimeter.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

ok.. looking.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you!!!!!!!!

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

P = 12Sin(30)+12Cos(30)+12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In a 30-60-90 triangale, the sides r in the ratio 1: 2: root(3) where the hypotenuse is 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait.. so confused. so which answer is it

OpenStudy (kinggeorge):

Both are equivalent and equal \(18+\sqrt{3}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

here the hypotnuse is 12 so the base is 6 and the other side is 12root(3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dont think it is any of these. You need the perimiter right? Well that is all the sides added up. So if one side is 12 that means it has to be more than 12. Right? Or am I off?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ill give a medal to whoever types the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so perimeter is 6 + 12 + 12root(3) = 18 + 12root(3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so which is the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok i have your answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

18+6(square root)3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Are you in connections accademy?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

noo

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whats that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh I am. Looks like we have the same questions thats why I asked.
