A typical sugar cube has an edge length of 1 cm. If you had a cubical box that contained a mole of sugar cubes, what would its edge length be? (One mole = 6.02 × 1023 units.)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhh the question is wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

6.02 * 10^23

Directrix (directrix):

I am thinking cube root of (6.02 × 10^23)= 8.44 * 10 ^(7)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well the final answer is 8*10^2 km I have no idea how to get to that answer though...

Directrix (directrix):

If there are 6.02 × 1023 cubes contained in the larger one, its edge would be the cube root of that quantity because the volume of a cube is the edge^(3)

Directrix (directrix):

I need to reread the question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeh the way the question is described makes it difficult to understand although its simple...
