OpenStudy (mani_jha):

Can we always find the derivative of a non-continuous function?

OpenStudy (zarkon):

if a function is not continuous then it is not differentiable

OpenStudy (mani_jha):

Thanks guys

OpenStudy (zarkon):

but 'non-continuous' and 'not differentiable' are two different things you can be not differentiable but be continuous.

hero (hero):

Well then \[\text{not continuous} \rightarrow \text{not differentiable}\]

OpenStudy (mani_jha):

Can anyone mathematically prove it?
