Does anybody know how to do this: -d/dt [ ln(1+x/1+x+t)^3 ]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

read the section in your calculus book called: "The chain rule"....you have to understand the principal of using the chain rule otherwise just knowing the answer won't do anything for you...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can anyone else show me please?

OpenStudy (agreene):

it's hard to tell exactly what the question is... but no matter--Maph's advice is sound. chain rule it... possibly more than once.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im just confused becuse of the logs...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and the minus d/dt

OpenStudy (agreene):

the -d/dt is just a constant, you can ignore it until you get to the end.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so im differentiating with respect to t?

OpenStudy (agreene):

yes
