i'm actually working on physics problem but I'm stuck with math -gcos^2(Ө) - (v^2/r^2)cos(Ө) + g = 0 when taking quadratic of this using the quadratic formula to find Ө, should I have Ө = quadratic formula... or cosӨ = quadratic formula... then take inverse to get Ө?

OpenStudy (kinggeorge):

\(\cos(\theta)\) should be the "x" in the quadratic formula. So solve for that, and then take the inverse.

awesome thanks :)
