Why can I not get 25/9 here? This is an indefinite integral inequality http://i1084.photobucket.com/albums/j409/QRAWarrior/MATA30Y-Attempt5.png

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The statement on the top is what I need to show.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But the problem is, the RHS I keep getting is 125/18

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry ,the LHS

OpenStudy (phi):

In your first step, you get 9 as the minimum value of the polynomial. Isn't it 10?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

9 is the minimum value.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Because when you take the derivative of that function in the denominator originally, you get x = 4 for f' = 0.

OpenStudy (phi):

gotcha

OpenStudy (phi):

integral dx = x (maybe you got x^2/2 ??)
