OpenStudy (jamesj):

Every frequency of light has its own peaks an troughs, hence has wasiqss says, you'll see a rainbow of interference.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Violet is seen near the central bright fringe?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The interference patterns of the different colours will overlap. The central fringe will be white as the central bright fringes for the colours will coincide. The fringe closest on either side of central white fringe is red and farthest blue. After a few fringes, no clear fringe pattern is seen.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Red? Are you sure? Or violet?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And what happens if one of the slight is covered with red filter and the other with blue? (incident light being white)
