True or false for the integral:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it's false, because there's a mistake on the right integral. The lower value is on the top.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ghass1978 what do you think it is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry i was away,its true

OpenStudy (anonymous):

looks true to me as well make the u- sub \[u=25-x^2, -\frac{1}{2}du=xdx, u(0)=25,u(3)=16\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I came up with the same thing using u-sub, but why is the lower value on the top of the integral?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because your sub is \[u=25-x^2\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so when you replace x by 0 you get 25 and when you replace x by 3 you get 16 just works out that way

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh...I figured that it wasn't allowed. Thanks!
