OpenStudy (tekeek):

Can one use "Currently" at the beginning of a sentence? I am working on a cover letter/resume and one of the sentences I have used starts as such. Currently, I am a key part of a team that supports over 100k+ employees across 60+ countries. Please advise, Thanks in advance!

OpenStudy (mani_jha):

I don't think there's anything wrong to it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup just need the comma -- although I don't think it adds that much to the statement...might pack more punch if you can say what you do on the team: I am the Chief Blahblahmefooer on the team that supports...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

definately you can

Yes you can use the word "correctly" at the beginning of a sentence--just use a comma. Something that is always handy to have around is the MLA handbook, so that you can reference it when you have questions. The MLA handbook was my best friend during undergrad. You can order one off of Amazon relativity cheap.
