Since every action has a reaction, and everything will happen for a reason, big or small. Then, from the moment time began, wouldnt a hypothetical path be made instantaneously that dictates the entire future, and we are all just walking the path, since we do everything for a reason, and things that happen by chance just happenn because of reactions as well, like a penny in the air; the air, force spun, and gravity still determines the outcome.

Not the entire future as such.Each action has an equal and opposite reaction.That is the forces are exerted on two bodies by each other

yup, causing a chain reaction, which would cause an equal and opposite force which will eventually interact with another, but dissproving 'chance', everything would be mapped out to happen because there wouldnt be any interruptions

It is actually true that the entire universe has a predefined destiny. But it is also true that the universe is tricky about letting know this fate, for example in quantum mechanics there is the uncertainty principle which restricts the amount of information you can observe and therefore not allowing predictions to be done.

Wow what an amazing question. did u think about by urself? this is a question that philosophers and scientists wondered about almost always. and they also gave it a name - Determinism. but names are not really important In the classical physics point of view your statement is very true. Every event in the future is well determent by the present, and as you said the path of things cant be changed. By who says that classical physics is right? In classicsl physics time was considered Homogeneous that is the same every where and for everyone. But it was proved wrong by Einstien and by expriments. As science devoloped new Observations (mainly of the behaior of light) made way for new theories, and quantom physics. as santistebanc in quatom physics the upcoming events are not well defined, that is no one, no matter how we try can measure the present well enough. (the uncertainty principle). There s an argue, is this just an obstacle that prevents us from knowing the well defined future, or is the future just NOT well defined and Determinisic. thank you! yes, i am seventeen and have been thinking about getting involved in astrophysics, and i believe that we will never be able to fully predict the future due to the immense reactions that things beyond our sight and knowledge can do, we will not be able to keep a track of each atom, even as much as we try to control the physical world. Sorry if this is worded weird sometimes putting thoughts into words isnt the easiest thing

Do u think that even though we cant keep track of it and predict it, the future is well defiend? that is theoreticlly speking, If I can give all the need to know information and a super computer, we will find out the future?

yes, i believe so, if all the neccesary factors are in Maybe if we put in the very start of the universe into a supercomputer, it could work. But, the computer needs to have all the factors and though it would be tedious to enter every atom, there are still unknowns, as long as there are unknowns we cannot determine the future. since computers can only use our knowledge, physics once again saves itself. a computer may be able to help us try to understand the future, but we will never know everything, therefore a supercomputer could not do the trick

well it turns out that things might mre tricky. And this is oe of the main differences between calssical physics and modern one. The philosopical question abput determinism, is open, and quantom physics claims that - no, it is imposiblle to determine the future Enjoy and good luck, tnx again
