In a way, D is true, but B is probably more accurate. 

The North wanted to re-unify the Korean Peninsula as it was before the end of WW2 and Kim il Sung approached both Moscow and Beijing for support. Both Koreas want re-unification, but have different ideas on how it should be done because of their different ideologies (North, Commuinsm/Juche and the South, Capitalism/Democracy).
