simplify 2x − 10y + 3x2 + 7y − 10x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

simplify means to combine the like terms... add everything with the same variable with the same exponent.

OpenStudy (candyme):

\[2x-10y+3x^{2}+7y-10x\] \[3x^{2}-8x-3y\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

like that...

OpenStudy (kymber):

Combine like terms! Remember that the sign before a number goes with it. Also, if a variable is square, 3x², it is not the same as 2x or -10x. It can only be combined with other squared variables. :D |dw:1333647565279:dw|
