What is the domain of the function y= 2√3x+4-5
1 to infinity is its domain as at 0 there will be a negative number in under-root and we dont need the answer in complex number.
@mr.cake r u satisfied by the answer!
how to I find the range also?
hmm... I think the domain should be x>=1/3 @annas @mr.cake
I believe the range is: \[y>-1, for, x \in \mathbb{R}\]
range would be y>=0
*\[y \ge-1\]
Have I interpreted the question faulthy? :x
i think everything is under sqrt
Then listen to Myko @mr.cake his answer is correct.
I get: \[y=2*\sqrt{3}*x+4-5\]Domain all real numbers; the range all real numbers. \[y=2*\sqrt{3x}+4-5\]Domain all real numbers equal to zero or greater; the range all real numbers equal to -1 or greater.\[y=2*\sqrt{3x+4}-5\]Domain all real numbers equal to -4/3 or greater; range all real numbers equal to -5 or greater.
