what is the equation of heat change

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Heat change? I think there is some ambiguity in the terminology here. Heat is thermal energy that is in motion, eg the transfer of thermal energy from one mass to another. Temperature is a measure of thermal energy. Can you provide more information as to what you are searching for?

OpenStudy (mos1635):

exchange maybe???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have an entire book full of equations of heat exchange. That typo makes the most sense, but I still need more information.

its a question that says an engine has an input of heat energy of 10,750J and loses 8330J of heat to the environment. What is the amount of work done? the teacher said to use the equation for heat engines

OpenStudy (mos1635):

|dw:1334350819161:dw| Qhot energy that heat engine get Qcold energy that heat engine looses Work=Qhot-Qcold
