OpenStudy (campbell_st):

angle ABC = 60 then angle DCB = 120 all sides are equal use the cosine rule \[AC^2 = 1.5^2 + 1.5^2 - 2\times 1.5 \times1.5 \times \cos(60)\] and \[BD^2 = 1.5^2 + 1.5^2 - 2 \times 1.5 \times 1.5 \times \cos(120)\] you should be able to finish these

i dont have this type of calculator angle ABC = 60 then angle DCB = 120 all sides are equal use the cosine rule AC 2 =1.5 2 +1.5 2 −2×1.5×1.5×cos(60) and BD 2 =1.5 2 +1.5 2 −2×1.5×1.5×cos(120)

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well the simple thing to do is work in fractions 1.5 = 3/2 (3/2) ^2 = 9/4 cos(60) = 1/2 for the exact triangle ratios cos(120) - -cos(60) that should be enough to do it without a calculator... or perhaps you could find an online calculator
