What do we do when we divide fractions by other fractions? Do you remember?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
they are not fractions its x+2 divided by 3x
OpenStudy (anonymous):
That's a fraction. When you divide one fraction by another you have to take the reciprocal, so you will have:
(x+2)/3 * 3x/(x+2). You could just plug in 7 for x in this case, but for some problems that you have in the future, you will have to take the reciprocal.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ok, but these are not fractions. It is [x+2 divided by 3x] divided by [x+2 divided by 3x]
OpenStudy (anonymous):
A fraction is when something is divided by another.
