HELP ME PLEASE!

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

I will be posting the picture hold on 1 min please:P

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

u gotta admit i got some snazzy picture taking skills;) i put B as the answer

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

am i correct?

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

B is correct

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

y=3-x

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

:D alright can i make sure of some others?

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

RIGHT-O!

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

oops, I 'm late

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

basically for a linear relationship you would have:\[y=mx+c\]where m and c are constants

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

can i ask another one?

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

you just did. :D

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

lol:P papa fun-nay:P

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

is that "nay" as in urdu/hindi for "no"? :)

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

nooo its a way of saying funny:P

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

I know - just joking with you beti! ;-)

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

first tell me what you think the slope of that line is?

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

remember slope = (increase in y)/(increase in x) between any two points on the line

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

do you understand?

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

lol i got the answer D

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

if not, another way is to look at: 1. what is the value of x when y is zero 2. what is the value of y when x is zero and then see which of the equations satisfies these.

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

well ofcourse i know what slope is!

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

D does not seem to be correct

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

well my friend said D, what i was thinking was C when i worked the problem out

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

C is correct

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

yes!

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

ok next one!

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

you should really post these as new questions beti

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

ok papa new question here i come!

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

that gives others a chance to help and get medals - especially in this new system

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

ok ok!
