A swimming pool is being filled with water at a rate of 10 liters per second. What is the equivalent of this rate in kiloliters per hour? (1 kiloliter = 1000 liters)

Do this in steps.. first figure out how many kilo liters per second and then convert that to how many kilo liters per hour
If the pool is being filled at a rate of 10 liters per second, then we multiply by 60 to get liters per minute. (60 seconds in a minute) Then we multiply liters per minute by 60 again to get liters per hour. (60 minutes in a hour) Then we divide liters per hour by 1000, to get kiloliters per hour. (1 kiloliter=1000 liters)
(10*60*60)/1000 is the math you would do.
