1,500(1+.10/12)^48

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm getting 1.35

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I get about 2234. First you need to do (1+0.1/12)^48 and then you multiply that by 1500

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i did that 1+0.1/12 is .091^48 is 9.1 * 1,500 = 1.365

One plus sth. is always bigger than one (if the something is positive - which in this case it is) so why do you end up with 0.091 if you add 1 plus 0.1/12?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this makes no sense

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1+0.1/12 = 1.00833333.... You got 0.091 which is weird I think because you got 1 and then you add 0.1/12 so you should end up with a number that is bigger than one. That´s what my previous post was all about.

im not understanding how to put 1512.5 ^ 48 in the calculator its not coming out
