Problem on 3 straight wires carrying current..Please see the attachment and help me out

I believe.. regardless of what the current direction or for that matter the magnitude in the middle wire is, the answer should be zero! . But not in the options!

no, if current in wire 2 is in the opposite direction to current in wire 1. the net force on 3 would be zero.

But you also need a certain magnitude to make it zero.

No the question is, what is the net force on WIRE 2, the middle wire.. As long as the current in side 2 wires are same and in same direction, the force on wire 2 will always be zero!
