can somebody check this? I've fixed it once but my instructor says it is still wrong. Factor Completely. If a polynomial is prime, state this. -2a^2(35a^2 + 34a - 8) -2a^2(35a + 14a + 20a - 8) -2a^2(7a(5a -2) + 4(5a -2)) -2a^2(5a - 2)(7a +4) He says that the signs are wrong and the factorization is as well?

OpenStudy (savvy):

in step 3, observe that it wud b 5a+2 in the first bracket...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh thank you. I figured he meant something else. So I switch the - to a plus? Do I need to fix the others?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think you forgot to make a^2 on the second step

OpenStudy (anonymous):

where?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

on second line you have wrote 35a when right is 35a^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you. Still kinda lost on fixing it but I appreciate all the help!

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

- so can you rewrite it right ,correct newly ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I just need to fix the signs he said but not sure which it applies to.

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

yes you need rethink it again on different way
