why is it that people like music that talk's about pain and death but other time's it's happy and joyful as well as why write sad and song's about heartbreak?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whats the question? why writers like sticking to a mood?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes sir

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Because if you keep switching your topic you'll lose your audience.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well when writiers ...write they usually write with the emotion they are feeling most at the time so lets compare zooey deischenel (dont know how to spell it) she is almost always happy and her songs portray that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes but still why would youfeel the need to talk about death and back in the 70's and 80's they dident do so much of that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think music is the only way to express your emotion and what you feel So they are using it to get their emotions and make them comfortable

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There will always be the need to express every type of feeling through music. There will always be people who listen.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Because music is a reflection and expression on how someone is feeling. Someone who is in a happy mood will most likely write happy songs, but someone who is upset and miserable such as the days way back during the great depression, might write sad songs and they might write about death or bad times they are or were going through.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

People like those types of music because it might relate to how they are feeling or their own life experiences they have gone through and it is nice to feel that they aren't the only ones who feel that way about something so the listen to the music to aid them and to make themselves feel better.
