what is 32 sqrd ---- 4 in expressed in simplest radical form?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you mean, \[32^{2} \over 4\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes but with out the 2 up top

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Like 32/4?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Um, ok. well 32/4=8. And 8 can be prime factored into 2*2*2 which is 2^3. If you want to put this in radical form, you need to multiply the 3 by 2 first so the expression looks like \[ \sqrt{2^{6}}\]. Am I missing something here? I didn't quite get that "sqrd" you mentioned in the question.
